ABOUT US

Speech and Debate is one of the largest student organizations at Lynbrook High School. We are a professionally coached academic team that gives students unmatched opportunities to hone their formal public speaking technique, critical analysis ability and research skills. We compete at all levels of tournaments, from local Bay Area tournaments to national level tournaments. In addition, we offer students exposure to advanced topics in philosophy, politics, science, and business. Our competitors are nationally ranked and have consistently placed at local, state, and international competitions.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

We offer students a plethora of opportunities. Competing in local, state, and national level tournaments, members get the chance to win many awards. Our members span all four grade levels, so you'll have the chance to meet new people and make new friends. We also offer many volunteer and leadership opportunities through Speech and Debate.
